AirPods case has burn marks?

So I got some AirPods for Christmas, they have worked perfectly fine up until now, I was looking for my AirPods when I found them and opened them up noticing marks in really specific positions, they were in my pocket of my jacket and had not been charged for a couple of days. Please help!

Those probably aren't burn marks, they are dirt, metal shavings and earwax. Clean the case (and your AirPods).

Based on solely on that photo, that sure looks like moisture and crud. Not singe. It’ll probably clean off.
