Prevent Terminal from loading at startup - Catalina 10.15.3

After restart Terminal opens a new window without any intervention. Terminal is not listed in login items under Systems Preferences > Users & Groups. Can anyone assist with figuring out how to stop it? Thanks.

In addition to what Peter said, also make sure you quit Terminal before you restart your mac.

There could also be something else, either in login items or launch agents, that causes the Terminal to start.

If you are sure to quit Terminal, it is not set to open at login, and yet it still starts, please run Etrecheck and post its report here.
