Claim that my Cloud Account was hacked.

I got a call from an apple number that gave a recorded I was getting people trying to message that said I my cloud account was being hacked. It then sent me to an Indian call center that said I was getting hit from Texas and Florida. After getting me to look at everything and giving me a walk through he asked me to go to fastsupport apple. While doing that the first thing I got was articles for the fastsupport scam. So I cut the call off and am checking here to make sure it's legit or not and hope I wasn't unnecessarily rude.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.

Did you see that message when you signed in with your Apple ID? If not, then it is a scam.

Did you provide any potentially damaging information to anyone? If yes, you'll need to follow up, for example, with a credit card company, Apple, your bank, etc.

If you gave you Apple ID password to the scammer, then

Thanks everybody. While I fell for the spoofed Apple number, I cut him off in time. The only thing I revealed to him was to admit my firewall wasn't on in a few devices which was a moot point since obviously I turned on the instant I noticed. I called support after I hung up (and wrote this query) So all is good, beyond being mad because this guy successfully pressed all of my paranoia buttons and wasting a work hour I had between appointments.
