Anyone having a problem receiving texts from Wells Fargo Bank via short codes? Something happened around January 15th and I no longer can receive texts from ONLY Wells Fargo. I can still receive texts via short codes from everyone else except them. I called the Bank and they say it’s Sprint. I called Sprint and they say it’s the Bank or it’s due to a software update. NO ONE can help me.
Since these are sent as SMS texts (green bubble) there are only two places the problem can be solved, either via Sprint (the most likely place) or Wells Fargo. Have you checked the Sprint forums to see if others are having the issue?
I have spoken to Sprint extensively and many times. They insist it’s not on their end, have performed all types of resets, unblocks, restarts and still nothing. I called Wells Fargo and they insist it’s on Sprints end, even stated they’ve had issues with Sprint customers before. Sprint has checked everything and now they are saying call back AGAIN tomorrow if not resolved. I have been calling every 2-3 days. I googled to see if anything was posted for Sprint issues but found nothing. I will look for the forum you mentioned.
