iPhone Calls Failing When Answered On iMac

Handoff is not working for iPhone Calls. All other Handoff features seem to be working as they should. Once I press Answer in the notification area on iMac, the call fails on my iPhone. Latest operation system updates installed on both iMac and iPhone Max Pro.

Hello mikefromathenry,

I see that you're having an issue with answering phone calls on your iMac. I'd be happy to look into this with you.

Let's start by having you turn off Continuity on both devices, and then restart them. Once you've restarted them, set up Continuity again and test to see if the issue remains. The article below will help, if needed.

Make and receive calls on your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, do you have Wi-Fi calling set up on your iPhone?

Let me know how this goes after testing this out.

Have a great day!

Hi there, thanks for reaching out and offering to assist. I have done all the above actions again and I did them prior to your email with advice from other online searches. It makes no difference. Wi-Fi calling is set up and turned on but Vodafone Ireland do not offer the service in Ireland yet. The continuity is working perfectly with mail, safari, copy of paste, watch unlocking my iMac etc. Its when I answer the call on my Mac the call fails on both iPhone and Mac. Thanks, Mike
