Macbook Pro 2019 16" pink vertical line
Laptop was working fine last night. Booted it up this morning and now have a solid (thin) pink line down the middle of the screen. Issue also exists during boot-up on the Apple logo.

There is no software issue that can produce that defect. You have a Hardware issue.
