Spouse apple Id on my ipad

Spouse has an iPhone, I do not. I have an ipad. My iTunes has my email as apple ID and password but my iPad continually says his email as the apple ID. So if my son in family sharing requests permission it pops up on my ipad and says (me) but it is spouses email and I have to enter his password. Help?

iPad, iOS 10

The reason you are getting the requests is because your spouse's ID is signed into iCloud on your iPad. Removing his ID from your iPad will not affect the information on his phone.

You can remove him from your iPad. Below are guidelines for switching IDs.

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed.
