Have the same problem/bug as described here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250950312. Happens since Catalina upgrade. Perhaps it is connected with old Reminders data structure upgrade. This is so annoying, please help.

I see that after updating to macOS Catalina, when creating a reminder it jumps to the very top. I'll be happy to help out.
See if this happens in safe mode, which can help tell us if the issue is possible login items. Sometimes just restarting in this mode can resolve issues: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac.
Also try a test user account. Creating a test user account can help determine if the issue is caused by third-party software: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac. There's steps to take further in that resource, depending if the issue happens in the test user account or not but you can also let us know the results.
