change author in books 10.15 catalina
how do i change author or book title in books 10.15 catalina? It will frequently insert my name as author or sometimes change format to Last Name/First Name, or reverse title and author.

The old Books before Catalina and possibly a step before would not let you change the author or rename the book. Now if you are in Books, select View and the list you can select the book you want to change like you would rename a file. That works most of the time. some files you change and then somehow iCloud corrects it back. I'm stuck there- but it works most of the time...
