My new iPhone 11 Settings states $7.99/mo or $149 for AppleCare+. However, NOWHERE in the information does it state how long the $149 covers. Unbelievable! Does anyone know? (I called Apple Support and the woman made up her answer and guessed "1 year". I go, "Wait 12 x $7.99 is about $96. Why would I pay $149? for 1 year?"

Apple Care Plus covers iOS devices for two years from the date it is activated.
Part of the reason it no longer states the term is the $149 plan goes 2 years but the monthly charge can go beyond two years. You can also extend past the two years the $149 buys when it is close to expiration by switching to a monthly plan.

AppleCare+ also covers accidental damage (with a minimal deductible), which the standard warranty does not.
