I recent got this message on my iPhone XR:

Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery.

I've had this phone for about 1 1/2 years. Got it new from Apple store. I've never replaced battery.

Therefore it's not because it's using a 3rd party battery.

Has anyone seen this problem with Apple OEM products?

That could happen. If you can bring it into Apple or an AASP they might be able to clear up that message.
