Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine apple battery

Tonight, I suddenly got an “unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery” message. I have never switched out the battery, it is the original that came with the phone. Why am I getting this message?

Click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to start the service process and have Apple check your device.
