Ghost Alarm on iPhone 11 Pro

How to eliminate ghost alarm which somehow came from older iphone in a process of migration.

There is no enabled alarm inside clock app, neither inside Bedtime, it just happens every morning at 7 AM. Also, ringing is acompanied with the small Alarm icon, not as standard alarm. No dismiss or snoose button.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 13

I had same issue with brand new iPhone 11 Pro - I suspect a hangover from the icloud backup of old phone - even though alarm had been switched off and then deleted altogether.

I eventually got rid of it by choosing the Reset All Settings option (under General\Reset)

There is no need to choose the Erase All Content option and the reset will saved my data and email, wifi settings etc

There was some post-reset work - but all relatively minor - e.g wallpaper, setting up Face ID etc and I was prompted for some permission the first time I used certain Apps.

But alarm gone!

I believe I can offer some content to this discussion. I had 7 alarms (in the standard Alarm app) set on my old iPhone 6S (10.3) that went off every weekday do to my work from home schedule. They were labeled (‘lunch’ ‘Morning Conference’ etc). I purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro and transferred my setting to it. So I had the same 7 alarms. I no longer needed those alarms so I turned them off. They continued to go off...7 times a day. So I deleted the alarms...still go off. I recreated the alarm “Morning Conference Call” at 8:55am. Now I get TWO notifications that go off labeled “Morning Conference Call”.

I deleted it again and am back to just the original ‘ghost’ alarms. They are CLEARLY the labeled alarms I set up in the Alarm app on my old phone and CLEARLY not any other app.

It seems obvious that this is a software bug that I hope Apple will address. I will try the settings reset, then the update to 14.3, then a full factory reset if necessary. Beyond that I don’t know.

Idris, your suggestion will NOT solve anything. I still have this stupid alarm waking me up every single morning at 7am!
It's just baffling to me that this issue seems to not have been fixed fir years! I am paying all this money to have a top notch phone, yet I am having problems with the ALARM?? Is this even real in 2020??

It has solved the issue for some people. I'm sorry to hear you're not one of them. My next suggestion, if you've verified that you don't have an alarm set up in the Health app, would be to delete all of your apps an add them back one or two at a time and waiting for the next 7am to see what happens. Deleting the offending and adding it back may fix the problem. Or, adding the apps back in small numbers will at least help you figure out which app is the problem.
