iphone 6s battery replacement and apple lawsuit

Has anyone seen the following article:

Will we be receiving a partial refund for a replacement battery? I spent $53.90 10/08/2019 at Best Buy, Apple's authorized repair dealer, as my phone would no longer hold a charge after 2 years (purchased July 2017).

Thanks

Apple never included a free battery service as part of their settlement. They did have the $29 battery service (in the US - other countries had different prices) where they would also allow a replacement service even if the battery wasn't "depleted" according to Apple's normal 80% standard. That ended in 2018. They were possibly partially refunding the difference in price of the battery service if someone got it done by Apple or an AASP before the promotional battery service went into place.
