How to stop contact bypassing Do Not Disturb - when all (known) settings disable bypass

My daughter, like my husband and son, is a favourite and emergency contact. For some reason her iMessages are able to bypass Do Not Disturb - I can’t even change the volume! I have tried resetting my Do Not Disturb options, (several times), changing her details/bypass options in my contacts, and even deleted her as a contact - all to no avail. My settings affirm that no one should bypass Do Not Disturb, and within contacts, the toggle switch for her is not set to bypass and yet the alerts persist! I changed my phone recently from an old, trusty SE to an iPhone 11 - had hoped this would iron out the unsolvable wrinkle, but no ...

Any ideas?

Many thanks!

HOWEVER, as I went to test taking her out of favourites, I noticed that bypass was switched on in her profilein favourites, even though it was switched off in her profile in my contacts! I have always checked her profile via Contacts assuming that those in Favourites are a simple replica - clearly not!

Well, I've learned something! Thanks for posting your solution.

I had my DND bypass set to no one able to bypass and none of my other favourites or Emergency contacts can bypass, just my daughter.

Thanks for that! I've learned something today. I was completely unaware that there were apparently separate settings for favorites as opposed to regular contacts!

Very good to know!
