My watch keeps displaying a screen with enter the password for your Apple ID.

My watch keeps displaying a screen with enter the password for your appleid. When I choose password button, I’m given an option finger lettering the code or a keyboard. When I select keyboard, the message is to finish entering text on your iOS device. I used to see a keyboard option come up on my phone but no longer do. How can I fix this?

On your phone go into your profile page and sign out at the bottom of the screen then sign back in again. This should pass the signed in info to the watch and hopefully stop asking for your password.
