400 Bad Request

Hi all,

I have visited certain websites with Google Chrome and Safari, and often see "400 Bad Request The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port". How can the problem be fixed? Thanks in advance.

1. Enable Develop menu. https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/use-the-developer-tools-in-the-develop-menu-sfri20948/mac

Click “Develop” in the menu bar and then “Empty Caches” twice.

2. Quit Safari if open.

Hold the "option" key down and click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

    Select "Library" and then "Caches".

    Look for the folder 'com.apple.Safari"

Right click "com.apple.Safari" and select "Move to Trash"

    Relaunch Safari.

3. Remove All Website Data.

Remove stored cookies and data: Click Manage Website Data, select one or more websites, then click Remove or Remove All.
