Plugged my iPad into my lightening digital av adapter with HDMI cable to my tv. Turned on screen share. I get sound but no picture. What have I done wrong? I’m trying to mirror my Philo (internet tv) app so I can enjoy movies, cmt videos, etc.

You may not have done anything wrong. Not all media Apps permit output to HDMI.
Try to see if other Apps are similarly affected. If others are okay - and send both sound and video to the external display - then your adapter is likely to be fully functional.

With all connection connected to the adapter, try simple unplugging the adapter and then, re-plug it into the iPad.
Also, try a simple hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
