Mac Pro (Late 2013) keeps shutting down when left on overnight

Anytime I leave it on overnight the next time I boot it up I get a crash report. Anyone able to decipher this? Thanks!

The intrusive kernel extensions in this package are completely likely to be the source of your woes:

com.symantec.ips.kext 10.0.0

com.symantec.nfm.kext 10.0.0

com.symantec.internetSecurity.kext 10.0.0

com.symantec.SymXIPS 9.0.1

third-party so-called anti-Virus is not appropriate for use on a Mac, and adds nothing except instability and poor performance to what the built-in protections of MacOS already provide.

These are still a problem.

/Library/Application Support/Symantec/Silo/NFM/IntrusionPrevention/NewNDCEngine/10.11

SymXIPS.kext (8.2.2 - SDK 10.10)

/Library/Extensions

SymInternetSecurity.kext (10.0.0 - SDK 10.10)

SymIPS.kext (10.0.0 - SDK 10.10)

NortonForMac.kext (10.0.0 - SDK 10.10)

If you work or school requires anti-Virus, use malwareBytes or ClamXAV, either of which can easily be set to scan only on demand.

The task using the most CPU is unidentified, which indicates it was produced by added extensions:

Top Processes Snapshot by CPU:

Process (count) CPU (Source - Location)

Other processes 110.99 % (?)

EtreCheck 2.62 % (App Store)

Enterprise Connect Menu 0.56 % (Apple)

Box Sync 0.36 % (Box, Inc.)

Endpoint_Security_VPN 0.16 % (Check Point Software Technologies)

I'm not sure what it means either.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report...

Or use the paperclip at the bottom of a Reply to attach the full report here. :)

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.
