Magic Keyboard Not Identified

I have the new black Magic Keyboard with a numeric pad. It does work with my MacBook Pro 2017; however, when I go to the Keyboard settings under System Preferences it tells me it can't recognize my keyboard and then it takes me to another screen that tells me to push the button directly located to the right of the SHIFT key (which is Z). I do this and my computer tells me "Your keyboard cannot be recognized

Magic Keyboard Not Typing A Few Letters I have the imac computer, and the keys wouldn’t type. Which is o, j, k, m, and a few more and I feel like my settings are wrong, I fixed them, and updated my computer but the same thing happened. I used the keyboard viewer and its tiring, i’m trying to make my magic keyboard work again. Any advice..?
