Why is my iphone 6 battery suddenly draining so quickly and then jumping all over the place in terms of charge? Last night I turned the phone off completely and the charge was around 70% and this morning when I turned it on it was down to 44%. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Thank you for your help with this - never even looked at "battery health" and it's 86% so close to what you suggested for replacement. Wonder how much those cost...maybe not even worth replacing it...

Hey,
All the battery problems come cause of battery aging. So now go to settings > battery > battery health .
In battery health section , you can see your battery health as a present age and if it looks so low ( below 80% ) time has come to have a battery replacement .

Your battery may have chemically aged after years of use, you may have to go to the nearest Apple retail store or Apple authorised service provider to get it replaced.
