Can’t Change Apple Payment Method to new card info

I got a new debit card as mine was so worn that the chip wouldn’t work. My new one has the same number, but the expiration date and security code are different. Apple won’t let me add a “new” card since the number is the same, and won’t let me delete the card they have on file and add the updated one because I have to have at least one payment method. How am I supposed to update the new security code and expiration date when there’s no option to edit my current card’s info, I can’t delete the current card, or add my new one.
