what is gutenprint

My migration stopped at this part...It says this version of Guten print is not compatible with this version of macOS. It won’t let me continue and my mouse isn’t moving. What do I do?

Unable to SCAN a document after upgrade to Ventura 13.0.1 Just upgraded my MacBook Pro to Ventura 13.0.1, and also applied the most current Epson drivers. While printing to my Epson Workforce 630 Printer/Scanner works properly, attempts to Scan a document hangs and never completes. Have already spend 2 hours on the phone with Apple Support. Cannot see bottom of Print Dialog box to choose Print or PDF I use the largest text on my MacBook Pro for my aging eyes. Trying to print, the dialog box is so large that I cannot choose Print or PDF at the bottom of the box. The fix for me was to go back to system preferences and make the text smaller. This fixes the problem but now my text is too small for me to use on a daily basis. I obviously don't want to have to change the text size every time I need to print. What is the fix? This was NOT an issue before I updated to Ventura 13.0.

Gutenprint is an open source universal printer driver, often used with printers that are no longer supported by their manufacturers.

It is not fully compatible with Catalina, but what you describe is more likely that one of the Gutenprint files is corrupted. If you can, back out of the migration and delete all Gutenprint files first.
