iPad Pro glitches (pink, green and blue lines down the page)and then shuts down

Hi ,

I have an iPad Pro 9.7 inch .And whenever I go on it for more than 5-30minutes it will totally glitch(pink,green and blue lines down the page )and then shut itself down .It is doing this repeatedly and losing large amounts of battery every time.It is really annoying and I am not sure wether it is an app doing this or something else entirely .

I really need to know what’s going on as it is vital for my school work .
