Ordinary text messages not shoiwng up in Mac Messages

Just recently, my Mac no longer can receive ordinary text messages or iMessages.

i have tried logging out and back in to my Apple ID.

Any thoughts?

iMac 27" 5K, macOS 10.15

On Your iPhone in settings messages check if message forwarding is enabled for Your iMac

it works! I had my phone number listed as the account on the phone and only my email on the Mac. Now they both have both. THANKS!!
