Apple Watch 4 changed magnetic polarity after MRI
This isn’t a question. Recently my wife’s Apple Watch 4th gen could not magnetically connect to any Apple mag charger. The Genius Bar tech support commented that they had never come across that problem. I’m fairly sure this problem arose right after a 3 Tesla head MRI while the watch was being worn. My current workaround to charge the watch is to strap the watch and charger together with a strong rubber band. The opposite magnetic polarities make it difficult for the watch to align properly but it does work. Now I just need to take the watch back to the mri center and beg that they expose the watch again to the strong field in hopes of swapping the Magnetic polarity or make a home grown electromagnet...
