Apple Watch interact with strong magnetic field

Watch was worn next to 3T MRI, felt pull towards scanner and now watch magnet and charger magnet will not stick. Therefore I cannot charge watch

It sounds like you got too close to a very powerful alternating magnetic field and the MRI field was strong enough to demagnetise the magnets in the Apple Watch.


There is no known DIY fix for this, the only route will be Contact Apple Support and see if they have any options available.
