Volume keys do not work
If I try to change the sound volume using the keyboard controls, the volume doesn't change. Or, if it does, it takes 30-45s for there to be any change.

Here are some steps that may possibly fix your problem.
- Make sure your MacBook is up to date. You can do this by selecting >System Preferences...>Software Update on Mojave or later.
- Try resetting the NVRAM (Doesn't affect personal data)
- Try resetting the SMC (Doesn't affect personal data)
- Reinstall macOS (Doesn't affect personal data)
- If all of these steps fail, I recommend taking it to an Apple Store Genius Bar to have it looked at.
