photo app previews at bottom of screen

Hi all,

I was wondering if you can turn off that preview line of photos at the bottom of the photos app when you're looking at a photo. I know that when I tap the image, they disappear, but is there a setting that will make them not appear in the first place? It's kind of a privacy issue, like when you hand your phone to someone so they can look at a photo, and proper unspoken etiquette states not to swipe to look at other photos lol. This little preview line of photos, although small, invades your privacy if you forget to tap the image to make it disappear.

If the option isn't in there to turn it off, how can one suggest to Apple adding the option to turn it off in a future update?
