Burning a slideshow to a disc

I put together a slide show & music on iVideo. How can I burn it to a DVD?

First, from your slideshow project screen, click on the Export button in the top right of your screen, and save the slideshow as a movie to your desktop.

If you just want to archive the slide show, you can then use the burn program on your Mac (see instructions in the Finder help menu) to burn the slideshow movie to a DVD-R standard single layer disc. You will need a DVD-R disc and a DVD burner to plug into your Mac unless you have an internal burner. If you don't have a DVD burner you can consider this one:

Apple super-drive for $80.00: https://www.amazon.com/Apple-MD564LL-A-USB-SuperDrive/dp/B011K4XZQ0/ref=asc_df_B011K4XZQ0/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309743296044&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5411321658767006499&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9012067&hvtargid=pla-404032605586&psc=1

On the other hand, if you want to burn your slideshow movie as a Movie DVD, with a theme and a menu, then you will need to have an authoring DVD program on your Mac, such as iDVD or perhaps an authoring app made by Peng GUIPING called DVD Creator available in the app store for $14.99. The latter might be best since iDVD doesn't work well with the new operating systems. The procedure would be to drag or otherwise import your slideshow movie into the DVD authoring program and burn it in accordance with the app's instructions.
