Numbers- Typing backwards

Trying to type text in an existing Numbers spreadsheet, on an iPad 7th gen.

On one pre-existing sheet all text entered is suddenly backwards with the cursor moving left to right. Mail and Pages appear ok, as do other sheets within Numbers workbook. Suggestions?

Can you freeze 1st column in Numbers for iOS with keyboard showing? I have a spreadsheet in Numbers for iPhone (XS). Created on Mac. It is set to freeze column 1 so it is always visible. This works great on the phone except when I pop up the keyboard to enter data. Then column 1 disappears. See screenshots. As soon as I pop up the keyboard, column 1 disappears. Mildly annoying - have to cancel it each time to make sure I'm entering data in correct row! Is there any way to keep column 1 visible while I'm entering data with keyboard? numbers - virtual keyboards not working everything described on this page: Learn about simplified data entry in Numbers for iPhone and iPad - Apple Support is not working anymore. i just can´t open any other keyboard in numbers, than the one for text. it worked flawless till 2-3 months ago. the symbols on the top left of the keyboard (abc, 123 and the symbol with the hourglass) are never appearing. deleted numbers - reboot - reinstall did nothing.. ty
