I recently got my iPhone XS, it’s battery performance was okay till this week when WhatsApp background activity started to drain it, what should I do?
Ps :I tried everything I turned on low battery mode and turned off it’s background refresh. I can’t replace the app because it is so crucial for me

Perhaps your activity using Whatsapp is heavy.
I'm not saying that you do not have to use it, but be aware that being always online, sharing messages with pics, videos, emojis... can be very heavy for your battery.
How is your battery health? Settings>Battery>Battery health and tap on it.

It’s okay, battery maximum capacity is 100%.
I know that I’m using WhatsApp heavily but the main cause of the battery draining the background activity of it.
So I’m wondering if there is anyway I can reduce it.
Well, you said that you already turned off background activity for Whatsapp, and I can't give you any further help about that. Have you tried to contact Whatsapp support team or join one of their forums and ask there?
