I cannot get the 'names' of my contacts to show up in iMessages, only phone numbers

in SETTINGS on my iPhoneX, OUTLOOK is NOT A CHOICE. I still cannot get the 'names' of my contacts to show up in iMessages on my MacBook Air, only phone numbers.


other, or more, directions or ideas?

Have you added your Outlook account on your Mac as well? You can check this via the below steps:


  1. Open System Preferences and select Internet Accounts.
  2. If you see your Microsoft Exchange account in the left sidebar, click on it. Otherwise, add it to your Mac.
  3. Make sure that Contacts is checked.
