I have a new smart TV . Apple TV is "Installed" but will not open. Samsung support says got to Apple support to solve the problem. Apple support says go to settings, account, etc. But it doesn't open .

According to https://www.apple.com/se/apple-tv-plus/ Samsung Smart TV is supported.

I expect it's primarily for new TVs but don't know for sure.

In reality I have little to add except it's sad.

I bought a Apple TV 4K to partner up with my 2016 LG Dolby Vision 3DTV

Dolby Vision has caused me a lot of grief so far.

It's probably in Apple's hands to fix the problem when and if they get around to it.
