How to indent within a bulleted paragraph

I'm using Pages in High Sierra and have a document with bulleted paragraphs. I would like to indent a few lines of text within a bulleted paragraph but can't seem to do this easily without indenting the whole paragraph or if I hit Return it starts a new bullet. I tried using a Tab stop but it affects the whole page. Seem to recall it was a heck of a lot easier in MS Word, just like highlighting text in Word vs Pages (sorry had to get that shot in) :)
