I am writing a document and when I go to use bullets and then add a tab character after the bulleted word the whole of the text bullet and all moves to the right. Is it not possible to add a tab after the bulleted item.
Eg: 1. Text "if I now try to add a tab the text then moves to the right."
Below is how it looks in MS Word
1. Text today is

Try option+tab to insert a tab (.e.g. Text<tab>today) between text items, where <tab> is the actual tab spacing. There is not one line of MS Word code or thinking in Pages, so many things are done differently, where they can be done at all.
