I am typing a document in pages 8.2 and I would like the following lines to line up with the first line. I am using bullets but the text is aligned under the bullet not the beginning of the text.
It works here when I copy and paste but not in pages

Alternatively, from the toolbar you can select View > Show Ruler.
That should allow you to visualise if something strange is going on with indent and margins, and correct it from the ruler (sliding the arrows, see below)

Thanks for the above info but I still cannot get the second line to line up. Using the indents moves the text away from the bullets. However you have put me on the right track. I went to the "Layout" tab and used the left indent.

Select the bullet list and take a look at the Text Indent.
Any improvement?
