HomeKit Compatible Smart Plugs

The Kasa Smart Wifi-Plug Mini by TP-Link is listed on Apple's accessories page as being compatible with HomeKit but according to TP-Link, none of their devices are compatible. Does anyone know which is correct? If TP-Link's products are not compatible, why would Apple list it on their page?

I'm leaning toward purchasing some but want to make sure they'll work with HomeKit first. Thanks!

Hello Buck_W,

Thanks for posting to the Apple Support Communities. I understand there is some confusion about what is compatible with HomeKit. I'll explain.

Based on the website of the manufacturer, it's preferred to use Siri Shortcuts with their products and it might not be compatible: How to Use Siri to Control Your Kasa Smart Devices

Smart Plug Mini (HS105) will not support Apple HomeKit
