Staingate warranty for 4 years and 3 months macbook?

The stains on my macbook screen have worsened over time and especiallay the last months. Having a very busy job I couldn't find the time to find out what was wrong. Now with the corona virus I'm forced to work from home and was able to do some research and visit a retailer who told me that It is for sure staingate. The laptop is a macbook mid 2015 and I have it 4 years and 3 month's. Is it still possible to get it fixed for free?

We are not Apple and cannot know all their repair policies, especially any that might deal with exceptions like yours. Today there is not a stain repair extension program listed:

Exchange + Repair Extension Programs - Apple Support

You will need to phone Apple to find out your options. We are your fellow end users and can only work from information Apple has published.

I just talked to apple support about this today. I still have until April 12th under their extended warranty, but since the stores are closed they suggested I mail it in for repair as that's one of the only way right now. I need the laptop right now for work, and they said it could be a few week turnaround or longer. They said they are offering extensions on certain warranties and returns, for 2 weeks after stores reopen, but couldn't guarantee the staingate issue would be included. I'm going to take a chance on that, because I need my laptop right now. You can check the status of your extended warranty by contacting apple and giving them your serial # and finding your purchase date, which they can help you find.
