How do I fix the Epson Printer error code 0x9A on my WF2660

I've been using an Epson WF2660 printer without any trouble for months. I recently did two things different ; (a) I downloaded CleanMyMac software to scan and clean up my machine and (b) I changed one of the printer cartridges. I don't use Epson OEM cartridges but use another brand and have done so for months without issues. I am now getting the Error Code 0x9A on my printer and cant resolve it. The web says "download the Epson 0x9A repair utility" but I cant find it on any site that looks remotely trustworthy. Any ideas how to fix this ? Do you think its connected with CleanMyMac download ?

So-called cleaning apps are notorious for deleting required files for proper operation of your system. I would bet money that app deleted a file your printer relies on. My advice would be to go to Epson's website and download the complete suite of software and drivers for your model and reinstall the whole thing.

Have you reviewed this printer user guide for what to do if certain errors appear, or Epson support as how to proceed? The "web" is untrusted, and I would not download anything for this error, unless instructed to do so by legitimate Epson staff.

There is no need for so-called Mac "cleaner" products, and you would not be the first where the software aggressively cleaned valid data files, application and/or operating system components. I suggest that you entirely remove CleanMyMac per the vendors uninstall instructions.
