Can not verify card on apple pay

Hello. I have tried to get my TD bank card verified to use Apple Pay on my phone, and for some reason, the number provided is being blocked/disconnected. TD has mailed me a letter saying they have verified the card for Apple Pay, but my wallet still shows it has not been verified. I have contacted Verizon to see if the number wasn’t working through a fault on their end, and everything is fine. They suggested I talk to Apple Pay customer service.
