Alarm volume is louder than ringer using same sounds.

I am wondering if there's something wrong with my phone or if anyone else has the same issue.

Alert sounds in the Clock app are higher than the same alert sounds for receiving calls. Adjusting the ringer volume adjusts both but the volume difference does not change. I either have calls that I barely hear or an alarm that is obnoxiously loud. Been like this ever since 13.0 update.

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, meltra!

I understand you're hearing the alarm volume louder than the incoming phone call volume. I'd be happy to provide information that may help you resolve this.

Try adjusting the volume according to the steps here: Adjust the volume on iPhone

Let us know the results.

Have a great day!

Hey meltra!

You may want to backup and restore your iPhone to factory settings. Once you've restored, test to see if setting up your iPhone as new helps solve the issue.

Hi,

I have tested another iPhone with iOS13 and one with iOS12. They both have the same behavior as mine, so I don't think I'll proceed with a factory restoration.

Seems that this will be an issue for me until the Clock app will get it's own volume slider.
