Frequently used emojis don’t change/update

ve noticed the frequently used emojis don't seem to change. I have tried resetting the keyboard, but they are stuck as they were from a little while ago (at a guess, lining up with the last update). Any ideas?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

Hey there shafa0310,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having issues with the emojis under Frequently Used not updating. I’ll be happy to help with this.

To verify, have you used the same emoji multiple times since noticing this? Test an emoji that is not in the list and use it at least 6 or 7 times in different messages and see if it updates.

If that doesn’t help, restart your iPhone make sure it’s up to date:

Restart your iPhone

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You mentioned resetting the keyboard. Go into Settings > General > Keyboards and remove the Emoji keyboard completely. Restart and add it back. Test again and see if this helps.

If the issue continues after that, back up your iPhone and reinstall iOS using the steps from these links:

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Regards.
