Free Space on my MAC
MAC has shut down and says OS X cannot be installed because "no packages eligible"for installing. Have been advised this means no free space available on my computer. Question: how to increase free space?

iMac Pro
Hmmm, does it boot to the Restore Partition holding CMD+r keys on startup?
Do you have the original Install Discs?
Have you emptied the Trash?
How much Free Space is on the Drive?
Hmmmm, & it's an iMac Pro???
Apple being closed due to Covid-19 see if you can find an independent AASP...
Thanks for answering my question. Unfortunately, I can't empty trash since the computer won't open to anything other than the notification that it can't install OS X. But, I didn't ask it to do that. In fact, I believe I HAVE an OS X in it. But I don't know what version of OS X. (Also, where should I look to find how much Free Space is on the drive? (It's a 2008 iMac.). -Jim
