Delivery delays COVID-19

The just took my money today (Oct 12) and it's preparing to ship ! Have they shipped yours ?

they said they can’t tell me why it hasn’t shipped yet but when it does ship I’ll get a notification. So all in all not very useful.

Probably. I was hoping I’d get mine sooner cause I needed it for school. I’m in my reading week and I was going to use it to catch up with my iPad. Guess not buts it’s okay :)

They changed it to United States so it shipped from California. I'm expecting it tomorrow hopefully it doesn't delay. I hope you get it soon!

I ordered one september, it’s Oct 16th now and it still hasn’t even shipped :(

My Mac Pro I order a couple days ago is still processing and I am getting worried. Also the air pods I order the same day is shipping and I’m getting confusing too

Omg I have the same order from 2nd of may and no tracking shipment still processing. I called Apple care and they said nothing that expecting it between 22-27 of may. I am really angry sometimes I don’t even believe that will come to me at all :(

I called the support for Germany and they told me that Apple is sending all the packets to Holland and when is in Holland then you can have a tracking reference. So it’s also from where you order it ... and a lot of luck I hope I help someone by sending this updates and not talking to my self hahaha

I think that's what it said for me when the green bar was at 'Processing'. Now that the green bar is at 'Preparing to Ship', the description for me says "We’re getting ready to ship your order. We’ll email you the delivery information once it ships."

But if that message is an update on what you saw before I'd say it's definitely a promising sign? Could be moving to the Preparing to Ship phase very soon

I keep getting updates the replacement MacBook should arrive tomorrow morning but Fedex tracking just displays label created. Very interesting! I am now getting emails and text messages so maybe it is really happening?

No fan noise sounds pretty exiting. That was one of the reasons I went for the pro, since „tests“ said the fan noise and heating goes to easy up, while just using Safari and Spotify..

I am using:

• 2020 MacBook Air
• Smallest base model = i3 Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage

Yes there was hardly any fan noise, I actually don't think there's any at all. It really doesn't I mean, this morning when I was downloading ALL my pictures and videos (some of these were like 5 minutes long), it didn't overheat and it didn't have excess fan noise. I was also downloading the apps I wanted while these pictures were downloading + ALL while listening to Spotify. So I mean, I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about it. I know it's way better to use Safari than Chrome because Chrome is not the best browser on a Mac. I mean it really just depends on your usage and all in the end :)
