Delivery delays COVID-19

I ordered a Mac Book Air that was supposed to arrive in Ottawa (Canada) between May 21-25.

Apple has indeed updated their order confirmation to "shipped".

When I check ( i do it everyday) on UPS (arrrghhh) website it states that it arrive in Ottawa from Louisville,KY, at 08:48 AM on May 21 and out for delivery on that very same day. For some reason, the delivery changed to "emergency or weather delay" ( uh..we DO have Spring here in Canada, too, not only inclement Winters) and went off for delivery on the 22nd AND changed again to 'emergency blah blah blah"..

Now the delivery screen ( UPS) is showing just this emergency thing.

I ordered one on April 29th. Originally said delivery would be on MAy 18th. Now says it;s been delayed and if we can't ship by 5/25 they will cancel the order. It's 5/26, and no change yet. Still delayed.

I ordered a MacBook Pro with airpods on July 13th. I got the airpods the next day and I’m expecting to get the Mac between the 21st - 28th of July. If it doesn’t arrive before the 28th, I’ll cancel the order, return the earpods and go to Bestbuy.

Hi, I ordered my macbook pro 13 inch along with airpods on the 10th of July and the estimated delivery date is the 20th of july, but then I got an email from apple that the order may be delayed. I don't know how much longer it will take. I got my airpods on the 17th though.

hi i also ordered a macbook pro 13' with airpods and an adapter on july 10. the adapter and airpods came the following week since they were in stock. the macbook is still processing but the order status says it is expected to come july 20-27. I hope it doesn't get delayed till august.

I ordered my Macbook Pro 13th on July 24th and the estimated delivery is between August 6th to August 12th. Its August 3rd today and my order still hasn't been processed. I am getting so impatient. Hopefully it arrives soon.

Aw im so sorry you’re going through that. This pandemic really messed up all of our orders. Mine is STILL in processing and I’m just tempted to cancel at this point and look for a Best Buy that has an iPad. But I would definitely contact Apple support because that doesn’t sound right at all. :( You deserve to have it in time.

I will let you know lol. I've called Apple's customer service, hoping they could help but, all the three-times I called them, they only told me that it will come and I should just wait. I'm going to call them again tomorrow and hope. I think it's better to just be patient with it. Some people in the comment here are saying that the "check order at a glance" is usually inaccurate and I'm counting on that.

I ordered a MacBook Pro too but on 26th August and the waiting game is killing me. My delivery window is 21st-28th September and uni starts on the 28th so I’m kinda freaking out now. I was hoping I’d get it before induction which started on Monday but I didn’t.

I got the educational offer which was the free AirPods and I received my AirPods 3 days within ordering it.

I just can’t wait anymore!

This is my timeline of the Macbook Pro 2020 13 inch (no customizations, got the 8 gb 256)

Ordered: August 28th

Processing: August 28th - September 23rd

Changed to Preparing to Ship: September 24th

Changed to Shipped: September 24th

Expected Delivery Day: September 25th

jpdemers, what I did in your situation (after 5-6 weeks) was submit a new purchase for the MBA from the store for pickup and cancel the the online delivery order. I had to drive about an hour to the store, but I was tired of waiting.

i ordered a apple watch on april 19 and it said it was shipped on on May 2 and it was suppose to be deliverers today and when i check the status it says pending with a exclamation point.

Wow you are so lucky your processing only took 2 days! I ordered my MacBook on the 8th and it’s still processing today!
