Delivery delays COVID-19

Ordered an 12.9 iPad Pro with AirPods pro offer along with the apple pencil, so far the AirPods have been successful of arriving sooner than expected. I wish that was the case for actual devices. I was hoping id get my iPad at least late august or early September, when my semester for university starts. It's frustrating that things haft to be this way right now, it hasn't even taken the money for the iPad out of my bank because its still processing. :(

Based on my experience, when I ordered macbook pro on 10th of August, it says it will arrive in between 1st of September-8th of September, but actually the item already arrived before 8th of September, so I think it depends on the estimate date of the delivery, maybe your item will be ready to ship by next week, cause when it’s ready to ship, it wont take so long. It’s very strange, I called again to see if I can get anything outta Apple and the rep told me mines isn’t even coming from overseas, it’s within the US where I also live and I don’t understand why it’s taking so long (besides COVID being a factor) I wish they could’ve put a warning that iPads and MB’s are on back order so I could’ve looked somewhere else.

I honestly just cancelled my order for my iPad just now. It might hurt my wallet a tad more, but I opted for Best Buy’s route with the $50 discount (even though Apple’s offer was better). I did the fastest option and it’ll be here on the 10th (Thursday) of this week. I’ve been in university for over a month now, I can’t really afford to wait any longer. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you guys though that are still waiting!!

I cancelled my order because I got tired of waiting for a computer to apparently be manufactured after I purchased it. If a large corporation such as apple can't deliver computers to people when purchased then we have a large issue. Gone are the days of walking into an apple store and picking up the computer right then. Along with any other thing you'd like to buy online -- you name it -- it's out of stock. Main stream media hardly talking about the fact that stuff can't be manufactured quick enough anymore. There is apparently no inventory of anything and everything that you want to purchase is backlogged. This is the twilight zone.

I ordered a MacBook 13in 2020 on the 18th of August and it was supposed to arrive today or til the 17th of September. I’ve been waiting for almost a month and I really cannot wait for it. I’m using a chrome book right now for my online classes and it is slow! I’ve been checking the status of the delivery and it’s been on “PROCESSING” ever since I ordered it. The free AirPods did come on the 26th of August. I really want to be patient for it but it’s been “processing” for too long.

They sent me shipping and tracking info to my email at 9:54AM (EST). I did not go through processing to ship stage, so I assume they took out the money 0-4 hours prior. For reference, I am located in Northeastern U.S.

I ordered my iPad Pro 12.9 2020 on august 28th. I just got a notification that it’s being shipped today on 09/24/20 at 11:59pm. Should arrive on oct. 5 (hopefully sooner 🙏🏽) I also ordered a MacBook Pro(received sept 11), MacBook Air(received sept 14), Apple pencils and three AirPods(sept 3). All of these products were ordered in the same time. The iPad is the only one taking a whole month which is of course the only one that is mine. 😭.

*Iam in no way bragging my husband and I are ER nurses and someone broke into our house during the crisis while we were volunteering in NY and stole my kids computers that they worked hard for. Thankfully we had insurance.

Honestly I ordered min sep 7 it is now oct 1 and it’s still saying processing. Headphones shipped one day after original order and I got it sep 9. Smhz I’ve talked to a representative 3x and all day nothings wrong with my order. I guess I’ll wait until oct 7 and see if it actually arrives. They still hasn’t took the money. If I knew Apple worked like this I would have placed my order early August to get it September

I ordered on Sept 16. Est is Oct 13-19... I'm located in Canada, BC. Only got my airpod pro from the educational bundle within a few days after my order of date.

It seems that the Macbook pro 13" basemodel takes the longest to ship! I can't wait any much longer... My current laptop's about to die. Let me know if you've receive yours!

what is ur location? this sounds similar to my situation. i ordered my MBP on September 5th, it only started to prepare to ship on October 2nd. The window for delivery is September 30-October 6. Apple needs for workers so they can hurry up with these orders. This is one of the best companies in the world? Hopefully it comes tomorrow.

I think all you have to do is wait, you're probably getting it from another warehouse. Mine just got shipped and is estimated to deliver this Thursday (Although most people get theirs on the next day)). My airpods pro was also shipped from China, maybe that's why.

Also the same with me, so crazy!! It said it would be here between 4/24 and 4/28 but recently it was pushed back to 5/5. Apple pencil already with me.

I placed an order for an Imac around 4/25.... the estimated delivery date is now set for June!
