Delivery delays COVID-19

I am a teacher and now have 7 days left of classes. so I understand needing your equipment! I knew there were shortages in inventory, but I was told my device was already built and in stock.

I just don’t understand why some equipment is moving and others are just stuck! I have ordered from Best Buy and large items arrived in days. I just don’t understand why there isn’t some traceability, if it is displaying TN. I have to believe it is either lost or stuck out of the country. I guess this forum makes me feel a little better that I just have to wait it out and I am not alone.

Yeah I would've liked to have it for finals that ended this week because I knew my current laptop would create problems and it did! I'm going to contact Apple support right now and see if they could have it for me by Monday so I can take my summer classes on it.

I ordered the iPad pro with the pencil on May 10 (I'm in the UK). The pencil had the expected dates May 18- May 20, but it arrived on May 12. I was expecting a similar surprise with the iPad, but the expected dates for it have not changed (May 21 - May 27) and the order is still processing.

Exactly the Same. I believe Apple have done it because they want to work on the orders in the weekend and from Monday ups come and take it . You can not make any change to your order now that why is back don’t be afraid as the others said one day before the shipment is occurred, they will send you the last update u Til then we wait :(

Yeah, it seems like yours should be Preparing to Ship any day now then! One can only hope..

Estimated delivery date for me is Friday 22nd, and that hasn't changed throughout the whole process. Changed to Preparing to Ship about 8-ish hours ago and it's still at that stage. I read somewhere on this thread that it changes to Shipped relatively quickly after that though.

It's just generally reassuring to know that other people are waiting too!

Ordered my MacBook on 10th May, status changed today to „preparing delivery“, about 10 days after order was placed. Can’t wait to finally get it!!

Got the base model with 4 thunderbolt ports, without any extra.

Mine was processing for about 4 hours until it got the tracking number from UPS. 6 hours later picked up by UPS and currently on its last state, getting delivered to me today.

that was really quick by UPS!

ETA at First (after pick up) 25th May, but changed today to 22nd May. That makes my day!! 😄

I placed the order on march 15, and still says processing order, estimated delivery between march 26 - June 2. According to all these readings, I am curious to when this macbook pro will actually come, alot of people ordered there 1 week before i did and received theirs.

I ordered an iPad 10.2 inch with the apple pencil, my ordered was shipped within a couple hours after i ordered (May 28th) and expected to arrive at my door June 1st (with UPS). My order never arrived, it was moved to the 2nd and then the 3rd and then the 4th. And next thing my progress bar went back to the middle as if my order never arrived at my location. And it was shipped in my province (Ontario) so it is domestic. Contacted UPS they just kept telling me to check the tracker bar that hasnt updated since May 28th

I ordered a MacBook Pro June 23rd, then a few days later was told instead of a July 13 delivery date, it was being changed to the end of July. Yesterday I received a notification that it has been shipped, this morning it says it is being delayed and is awaiting release from customs in Shanhai! Although yesterday the delivery date said July 16th and today it says the 13th - so hopefully this is normal thing. I'm in Canada so things being delayed somewhat at the border isn't so uncommon. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be here next week!!

Hopefully it arrives soon! I got a text today saying my delivery date estimate changed to the time 10th-13th. Are the laptops coming directly from Shanghai maybe? The AirPods came really quickly so I’m thinking they came from a warehouse in the US already.

Delivery of my MBA has now been delayed for the fourth time. Originally ordered June 19, now scheduled (which apparently doesn't mean anything) for August 7 to August 11. I'm surprised Apple is treating us this way. They don't provide any explanation or excuse.

I bought a Macbook Pro on Aug 3rd and delivery estimate is Aug 18th. It says on the order tracking they have everything they need to complete the order and will update the delivery date when it prepares to ship. I'm guessing they have no stock in my country (UK) so they're coming straight from China to customer or something, almost like dropshipping. Just a theory. I'll update this if it goes past estimated delivery date.

Mine hasn't been delivered yet. I ordered a MBA on June 19. I'm actually in the next window for delivery (August 7 to 11). It's been delayed four times already. The Apple order site is not encouraging this time either––it says the order is still "processing," not even "preparing to ship." So my guess is I'll be getting another delay notice. Extraordinarily frustrating, especially since Apple doesn't even give an explanation of the problem. Heck of a way to treat its loyal customers.

I ordered my Mac book pro 13” on July 26 , expected arrival aug 4-11. I got an email yesterday saying it was now delayed until September 2-11 SO ANNOYING!!! I needed it for school I start in a week! I feel they shouldn’t have an estimated arrival window if they know they can’t fulfill the orders 😡 now it finally charged my account and went from processing to preparing to ship but who knows when it will actually ship! So aggravating 😩
