Delivery delays COVID-19

Hi guys,

I recently ordered a Macbook Air and headphones on the 16th of March.

The headphones have been processed and shipped but the Macbook Air hasn't even been processed yet. The original estimated delivery date was 24th/25th. The original date has now been pushed back 6-7 days. I understand that in the current climate delays are to be expected however I need the Macbook for work and uni so I was wondering if anyone knows how long shipping is actually taking at the moment?

Also for clarity, I am located in Sydney.

Thanks!

MacBook

That’s basically what she admitted to why it’s been like this. At least Best Buy has the ability to put a cap on how much inventory they have and what’s on back-order so they’re not letting people buy things they’re not going to get for over a month or so.

my accessories for it has already been delivered to me but not the iPad. If there was stock around in my area for the model I’d want I would’ve canceled a long time ago. Despite the student discount I got. It’s a huge inconvenience for me because of needing that for university.

Today is the supposed date for my macbook pro but it’s still in processing and I don’t know what to do cause my sister’s iPad came earlier than the expected delivery and today is also the expected delivery but mine is still in processing ever since it was ordered ( august 14) my mother is gonna send our stuff to our country and if it’s not gonna come by september 11 my mother won’t send it here. I really need my macbook to be delivered because I can’t keep on relying on my sisters’ laptops because all of us need to use them at the same time so i’ve been using my dad’s iPad but he also uses it so I can’t take it I really don’t know what to do.

I'm on the same boat. I ordered on Aug 16th and delivery window is September 9th-16th. Today is the 10th and my order is still processing. I'm assuming it's a worse time to buy compared to March-June since everyone's buying for school. I'm hoping it ships by next Monday (14th) or else I might have to cancel and just go with BestBuy or something. Let us know when yours ships!!!

This is exactly what I’m going through. I ordered of sept. 15th and it’s been processing ever since. It’s now October 6th and I’m 3 days away from the first day of potential delivery and I’m really confused and annoyed. This was suppose to arriver during my reading week so I could catch up on all my notes (60 pages). I need to redo them all on my iPad. So I just wish I’d get updates. Ok top of that my friend’s took an entire full month before hers got moved to the shipping phase. Just disappointed.

I ordered a MacBook Air on Oct. 8; now it's Oct. 14 and the order is still "processing". Cables and adapters came promptly (3 items from 3 different locations), but no laptop. Several Apple stores in NYC had it in stock and available for pickup, but I made the mistake of assuming that this meant it would be available for on-line ordering as well.

Apple's on-line information system is useless - it seems to assume that everything is working perfectly and has no options appropriate for any non-ideal situation.

I would like to tell them to suspend delivery and let me just go get one at an Apple store, but there's no option for changing to an in-store pick-up, nor even a phone number to call to find out what the heck is going on with the order. Will it ship tomorrow? Next week? Next month? No clue, no hints, nothing - and no way to find out. You'd think Apple could do better than this crappy level of service.
