iPhone 8 plus Bluetooth 5.0. Have Sony Bluetooth portable speaker, the speaker is Bluetooth 3.0. Is Bluetooth 5.0 backward compatible with Bluetooth 3.0?
The iPhone does not see the speakers in order to pair.

Those speakers should be visible from your 8.
Shouldn't be this case, I would try and contact Sony support and see if they have a firmware update for their device.

Thank you. I found the issue, it was me. It was the first time to pair and did not follow the correct steps. Have it paired now and everything is good. Thanks again.
